Alan and I plan on doing a bit of work this Friday. We will be assembling the new basket and installing it on Hole 8. We also plan to finish cutting the fairway for the new hole we have mapped out. If we have access to a pole saw, we’re going to walk along some of the woods holes and clear up some of the higher branches. All of this is being done in preparation for the Dead Leaves Doubles on October 16th. |

We will be getting some course work done this weekend in preparation for the Dead Leaves Doubles. But first, we need to cleanup the mess that Hurricane Irene left. We will also be finishing the fairway for the new hole and chipping as many piles of branches that we can find. Then we will build a tee box for the new hole and sink an alternate sleeve for Hole 5. I’m sure there is other stuff that needs doing, so why don’t you grab some work gloves and a can-do attitude and come help us make the course even better. |
